When Reach Up Ministry began in 2005, my husband and I had no money and no platform—only a calling from God and a willing yes.

We felt led beyond the church walls and into the streets, where the hurting, forgotten, and lost were searching for hope.

During a season when we ourselves were in need and unsure where to turn, I heard the Lord speak clearly to my heart:
“I am here. Call on Me, and I will answer.”

Those words became the foundation of this ministry.

One day in Garland, Texas, the Lord tested our faith again. He spoke gently:
“As you help others, I will help you.”

Though we were still walking through our own struggles, we chose obedience. We helped a small community church, and in that step of faith, God began opening doors we never imagined.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…”

From that moment forward, lives were touched, hearts were restored, and our community began to grow—not because of us, but because we gave God our yes.

We believe when purpose is discovered, life finds meaning. Our prayer is that through Reach Up Ministry, you will encounter the love of Christ and know that you are seen, valued, and called for more.
